BUSINESS GOAL
Xero is an cloud based accounting software that not only enables small businesses to seamlessly manage their own finances and do beautiful business, but also supports Accountants and Bookkeepers deliver essential financial services to their client base – including accounts production, tax, bookkeeping and financial advisory services.
As a brand and business Xero is committed to empowering Accountants and Bookkeepers. It is because of this, that Xero and One Picture have delivered a series of six Industry Performance Reports in key growth markets across the globe; USA, Canada, UK, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. We have engaged 1000 Accountants and Bookkeepers globally to understand their financial performance, existing behaviours and practices and their growth ambitions.
These reports not only provide thought leadership for the Accountancy Industry in each market but share key insights into how buoyant the accountancy market is in terms of demand, revenue, profits. They also reflect on practice efficiencies and the role cloud base software can play in enhancing service delivery – experiences of their peers and colleagues.
THE SOLUTION
We worked incredibly closely with Xero to firstly identify topics of interest and focus – this involved workshops with the marketing team across key markets before developing the benchmarking questionnaires to meet the industry and Xero’s needs. We conducted rigorous analysis and developed the final reports alongside Xero’s insight team.
THE OUTCOME
These reports have formed a crucial basis of Xero’s marketing strategy for 2023 / 24. The Industry Performance Reports provide meaningful content to share with practices at Xero’s annual conferences. The insights also enable meaningful discussion in individual sales calls with partners leading to increased acquisition of customers.
